10 Thoughtful Gifts to Give Women Experiencing Infertility This Holiday Season
One of my love languages (both giving and receiving) is gift-giving. That means it goes against every fiber of my being to give a gift that is not meaningful. If you’re the same way or not, and you’re looking for a gift to give the woman in your life who is trying to conceive (TTC), here’s a list of 10 things you can gift that are both meaningful and practical! You can also check out My TTC Must-Haves blog for more inspo. Happy giving!
PS: I’d like to say kudos to you for being a thoughtful friend, sister, mom, cousin, or colleague (sorry if I am missing anything). TTC is one of the hardest journeys to be on and can feel extremely isolating, so a special gift like one of those below will mean the world!

ONE:
3 Piece Teddy Lounge Set
A cute, but most of all comfy, lounge set in a dark color for all the poking & prodding your friend/sister/cousin (or whoever it is) has to go through. Many appointments are invasive, meaning they go into your hooha, and cause cramps. So even though you want to look cute (which this set totally screams), you also just want to wear something that’s loose and comfy cozy.
If you aren’t feeling this one, I also swear by Abercrombie & Fitch’s loungewear, specifically their Soft AF collection.
Price on Amazon as of December 2022: $51.99
TWO:
My Healing Journey Journal
Experiencing infertility is not for the faint of heart and I firmly believe only the strongest women get put on this path. Even so, when someone is actively TTC and can’t, their mental health really takes a toll. The gamut of emotions we experience is NOT fun! Writing has been proven to be therapeutic and can help bring peace. This prompted journal is made specifically for those experience infertility, and is great for helping him or her work through their emotions and feelings.
Price on Amazon as of December 2022: $24.99
THREE:
Infertility Box/Trying to Conceive Gift
I love this already put together care package. There are a lot on Etsy, but I love this when for the cute card. Hope when you’re hopeless and strength when you want to give up are so powerful when TTC. I also love the mug for days when AF shows up or your person gets a BFN on that pregnancy test. There are a lot of different options but here’s just one from Wild Precious Boutique.
Price on Etsy as of December 2022: $42.50
FOUR:
Acupuncture Treatment(s)
I swear by acupuncture as a supplement to western fertility medicine. The way my acupuncturist put it, western medicine treats the underlying issues of the reproductive system only, whereas eastern medicine treats your body as a whole. If something is off in a different part of your body, it can have a trickling effect on your reproductive system, which makes total sense. If your body is dealing with issues elsewhere, it can’t put its all into baby making!
The medicated IUI cycle I introduced acupuncture into my regimen, I got pregnant! This may be a little off the rocker for a gift, but trust me, women who are TTC are willing to do anything for that little miracle.
FIVE:
Massage Treatment(s)
Pamper her! Trying to conceive is very stressful, and I am an advocate of releasing all that built up stress and tension in every possible healthy way. Massage is wonderful for doing that! For an hour, or more, she gets to escape from the TTC world. And, she gets to wake up feeling relaxed and unwound.
TIP: If a massage is a little out of your budget, try looking into massage schools! They give just as good a massage as fully licensed and certified massage specialists (at least in my experience). Just make sure the school is reputable and has good reviews. You may even want to try finding their star masseuse!
SIX:
Pineapple Pendant Necklace (or Jewelry)
You probably won’t know this, but she does! Pineapples are symbolic of infertility because they say if you eat pineapple on the day of an embryo transfer, you’re more likely to get pregnant… I have also read that pineapples, like women TTC, are tough on the outside, sweet on the inside, and wear a crown atop their heads - that’s the explanation I like to go with. ;) Either way, I love dainty jewelry like this necklace or these earrings as a “sweet” gift for those TTC.
SEVEN:
Portable Heating Pad
I listed this in My TTC Must Haves blogs and I’m listing it here again, because this is an absolute God send!!! As I mentioned, women on this infertility journey are poked and prodded and a lot of appointments we go to, we end up walking away with cramping. This portable heating pad was SO NICE to have. I was able to throw it on in the car, on the plane, anywhere I went! And it hides well under those sweats and a sweater.
I have this exact same one and I’ve used it for post-TTC appointments, AF cramping, post-surgery cramping, and now I have it in my hospital bag for labor & delivery. She will get a lot of use out of this, you can bet your bottom dollar!
Price on Amazon as of December 2022: $54.99 (Regularly $79.99)
EIGHT:
Fertility Bracelet(s)
I absolutely love these pretty alternatives to the beaded crystal bracelets you see everywhere. If your gal pal is into crystals (or even if she is not), this is such a thoughtful gift that I am sure will also get a lot of use. This particular stack of bracelets from Lou Lou Jewelry Store features Rose Quartz, Moonstone and Aquamarine. To learn more about these fertility crystals (and more) check out my Best Crystals for Your Infertility Journal blog here.
Price on Etsy as of December 2022: $49.64 (Set of 3)
NINE:
Planner
From appointments, to medication reminders, to surgeries and tests, to what cycle day your on, there’s a lot to keep of track of in the TTC world! I loved planners for keeping my brain organized, especially in the beginning when you’re having to go through your first rounds of testing and possibly surgeries too! There are so many different options out there, but I love this pretty one from Amazon that comes in neutral colors like this ivory one (black and grey), as well as pink, teal, and navy blue.
Price on Amazon as of December 2022: $21.99
TEN:
Meal Delivery
I WISH I lived in an area that offered meal delivery services, because there are many days when you’re trying to conceive that you just don’t want to cook, and neither does your SO (significant other). A gift certificate/gift card to something like Uber Eats or Door Dash would have been so amazing. One less thing to think and worry about when your brain (and heart) just want to turn off.
