Crazy Shit People Have Said During My Infertility Journey

We can all relate, I’m sure. A friend or family tries to make you “feel better” by giving you words of encouragement which, in the end, are actually quite insensitive. The sad reality is, unless someone has gone through infertility themselves, they truly have no idea how to by sympathetic and come off looking like an a hole in the end. I don’t doubt that most people have good intentions when it comes to “words of encouragement” for us. And, I think if people were more educated about infertility, they’d realize it’s not just about us “relaxing.” I thought it’d be fun (in a therapeutic kind of way) to create a dynamic blog of all the crazy shit people have said to me when they were trying to be sympathetic (or not). What are the craziest things people have said to you?
